Residu is a contemporary urban novel about letting go and being unable to let go, set against the backdrop of two parallel lives. Lizzie doesn’t dwell on memories. Until her father asks her to attend the tenth-anniversary memorial service for her late mother. Everything in her life – work and love – is temporary and uncommitted. Meanwhile, she helps Lenny, a homeless man, to beg more effectively using modern marketing strategies. Benjamin works in an above-ground car park. On 11 November (Armistice Day and his birthday), he sees a boy walking past who reminds him of the son he left behind many years ago in his beloved’s maternity ward. This encourages him to go for a walk – through the city and through his memory.

In October 2024 this new collection of poems titled Dramaturgy of letting go was published by De Arbeiderspers.

In October 2016, the debut collection 'Waanzin went niet' (Madness doesn't settle) was published by De Arbeiderspers. The collection was nominated for the Jo Peters Poetry Award in 2018.

In June 2019, the poetry collection 'Et alors' (What now?) was published by De Arbeiderspers. It was proclaimed as a club choice collection by the Poetry Club and Awater.

The debut novel 'Een waarschijnlijk toeval' (A probable coincidence), the story of a man who loses his taste for cigarettes because he has regained his faith in love, was published by De Arbeiderspers in 2021.

Max Greyson has been giving workshops and masterclasses in language creativity, poetry, spoken word and expression in schools and to adults for several years. Within the framework of his artistic research at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp, he also gives masterclasses in artistic audio-description (for the blind and visually impaired) and artistic methods for integrated accessibility in dance and music theater.
